Happy Happy New Year, Everybody! I just got word that Houston Chronicle music critic, Joey Guerra, named The Road Less Traveled the #1 local album of 2008, and it's in the paper today (New Year's Eve)! I haven't seen the article yet, but I'll pick up a copy a little later when I'm out doing a few last minute errands for my trip to NYC tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a link to the Chronicle blog: http://blogs.chron.com/handstamp/archives/2008/12/top_houston_cds.html Needless to say, it's a really good feeling to be recognized this way right here at home. And The Road Less Traveled also made the Americana Music Director's top ten "Notable Country Recordings for 2008" at KBCS in Bellevue, Washington! http://kbcs.fm/site/PageServer?pagename=bestof2008 It surely has been a GREAT year--the best one ever, I believe. And there's a lot in the works right now for 2009 that I'll tell you about as it all unfolds . . . In the meantime, I'm wishing you and yours a very safe and satisfying holiday. As always. Y'all come!
