I'm busy getting ready to head East this week for a live radio broadcast on Roots 90.3 WXLV in Pennsylvania/New Jersey, opening up for Bruce Robison! I met Big Kev in Nashville a few weeks ago, where he and promoter, Fred Boenig, were recording the top Americana acts for WXLV. I'll tell you what--it was a real treat to hang out in the WXLV suite during the Americana Music Association conference and see/hear such artists as Elizabeth Cook playing up close and personal! And thanks to Big Kev, the fun will continue with a full itinerary on the East coast, including the Bruce Robison show in Hoboken, NJ on Friday night, a party in New York on Saturday night, and working with a full band (with steel guitar, even!) on Sunday afternoon.
