"The World United Music Festival, presented by the United States Entertainment Force (U.S.E.F.), in conjunction with the Roots Music Association, finds it’s home in beautiful San Marcos, Texas. Located between Austin and San Antonio, San Marcos is an ideal place for a festival of this size and magnitude with over hundreds of bands being connected to over 300 radio stations and industry labels. Not to mention major headliners to end each night with a bang. This seven stage, three-day event promises to be an historical event for musicians, industry heads, and the 100,000 festival attendees projected to attend. The Roots Music Association (RMA) researched and has chosen the top 200 independent music acts of hundreds of entries from around the world to showcase their talent.
The RMA Radio and Music Industry Convention will be held in the brand new convention center being built just minutes away from the festival. Seminars will be held Friday and Saturday with speakers addressing the ever-changing industry of radio and music production and it’s relationship with labels and the future of the music industry. The Mayor and the city of San Marcos of gone to great lengths to accommodate this festival and convention. Also the governor has given his blessing and welcomes the U.S.E.F. to Texas. U.S.E.F. is a non-profit organization that helps the families of troops that are deployed over seas."
