Go Girls Music Fest Benefitting Homeless Animals

I am happy to have been invited to perform at the 8th Annual Go Girls Music Festival, benefitting Friends for Life, a no-kill animal shelter who's Web site is http://www.nokill1.org. I have four wonderful dogs and three cats that I have adopted from the streets of the Second Ward, here in Houston where I live, and they have brought so much joy to my life. It is heartbreaking to see "man's best friends" abandoned, starving, sick, and suffering alone on every street corner. I will make this the best performance of my life, and this time rather than my typical "y'all come," I will say "PLEASE come!" I will give a free CD to everyone who shows up for this worthy event.
