Carlyn Emule is a graphic designer whose one of a kind monotype prints can be found in galleries, corporate settings and homes nationwide. She'll be giving a presentation on her work and process and her pieces will be on display. Also join us in welcoming Glenna Bell. Bell's sound is modern Americana in the truest sense. A blend of country roots music, romantic urban culture lyrics and Texas folk rock, her voice is both powerful and vulnerable. ABOUT THE STUDIO Located in the warehouse district of downtown Austin, the DWR Studio joins a growing number of specialty shops and restaurants that have emerged along West 2nd Street during the area's recent urban renaissance. Home to 3,823 square feet worth of new and classic modern designs, the Studio is just one block from the banks of Town Lake, and is surrounded both by buildings of local historical interest and by Austin's new modern City Hall, designed by architect Antoine Predock. Overseeing the Studio is Sarah Creekmore and her friendly and knowledgeable staff. Parking is available at city hall, 301 W. 2nd Street.
