After experiencing the National Folk Alliance Conference at the Austin Hilton last February, I'm primed for another great Folk Alliance event and am so happy to have been invited to perform in Austin singer-songwriter Melinda Rothouse's showcase at the Woodward Hotel. In February, I was amazed by such an event--an entire hotel literally full of acoustic music with not only the banquet rooms turned into concert venues, but even the guest quarters posing as intimate listening rooms equipped with p.a.'s and the works! And not only am I looking forward to the music, but also to the comradery of my fellow acoustic music lovers. It's been a lot of fun already to correspond with friends and acquaintances from L.A. to Houston, Dallas, and Austin--just making plans for a weekend of sheer entertainment. Come one, come all.
