I had such a good time playing at Super Happy Funland last night, in such fine company as the Austin-based singer-songwriter, Kristi Rae, and the duo, Annabella, from Georgetown--two very polished acts--and I was glad that the proprieters decided to invite me back to perform again so soon. I'll be sharing the bill with two touring acts that I hear are quite impressive: Meredith Bragg (http://www.meredithbragg.com) and Mike Tamburo (http://musicfellowship.bloodteam.com/tamburo). Super Happy Funland is such an eclectic, quirky place in the historic Heights. It's located in an old wood-frame home that's been transformed into a venue with a sort of retro coffee house, hippified feel--all colorful and filled with comfortable couches from Goodwill and knicknacks everywhere. I'll bet Janis Joplin would fit right in over at Super Happy Funland.
