HAAM Radio Show

KPFT 90.1 FM, Lovett St., Houston, TX

I've always respected the work that HAAM (the Houston Association of Acoustic Musicians) has done to promote acoustic music in a city whose scene has been dominated for years by rock'n'roll bands. So, it is with great honor that I accepted HAAM's invitation to appear on their weekly show over at KPFT studios, a station I've played on-and-off through the years with fond memories of the wonderful radio personalities and staff that have made KPFT such a successful independent media source in a new world dominated by the likes of corporate entities such as Clear Channel.

The Web site for HAAM is http://www.haam.us/, and I highly recommend checking them out. I noticed there's a 2005 membership photo, including some dear, talented musicians I've had the pleasure to work with through the years. And membership is free, so why not join? Of course, the KPFT link is posted above, and there's a phone number on the site to call in requests or just to say hello while I'm live on the air during the show. So, y'all come. I want to hear from you, always--Glenna Bell.
