If you're in the Houston area, I want to invite you out to a special evening at Cosmos Cafe. I'll be opening for Two Hoots and a Holler, who's been getting some great reviews and general coverage in the Press lately. Their new album is produced by Jesse Dayton, who's featured in this month's Texas Music magazine because he's been working with Rob Zombie on a filmscore for a new movie--not bad for a Beaumont boy--and Two Hoots is in the vein of the old-style, toe-tapping, Texas dance-hall music that is especially fitting for Cosmos Cafe with its VFW hall feel, dance floor, and full bar/restaurant. I'm particularly honored that Joey Guerra, music/entertainment writer extraordinaire, has selected me for a feature in the Houston Chronicle, so there will be a photographer at my performance and I'll be doing an interview at Cosmos earlier in the evening. You can be sure that this show will be more than a hoot Y'all come!
