I'll be playing happy hour with the fabulous Honky Tonk Heroes at one of the oldest establishments in Houston, centrally located on Alabama near Shepherd. The West Alabama Ice House is quaint--a real old-fashioned ice house with picnic tables and iced-down beer--and the Honky Tonk Heroes really rock. I'm thrilled that they invited me to sit in on a few songs, and I hope to see you there before my ten o'clock show opening for the David Fahl band at the Last Concert Cafe in the warehouse district just east of downtown. Y'all come.
