Since the last update I have been really busy getting everything ready for the SXSW trip. I now have new Glenna Bell t shirts that are very striking in both mens and womens styles and another batch of CDs for those of you who have inquired . . . Tomorrow I will be playing in Austin at Opal Divines and Friday I will be at Mother Egans just down the street at the Dan Workman Music Party. I have heard nothing but good things about both of these venues. Then, when I get back to Houston I have a show at Deans on Main Sunday night. It will be my first time back at Deans in about a year and I really like the atmosphere of this fairly upscale bar. It is in an old building with high ceilings that reminds me of a place I played in the French Quarter last year. The trip to Austin will be a lot of fun but I will look forward to getting home to my hundred year old house and four dogs on the east side. And playing Sunday night at Deans in Downtown Houston will be a wonderful way to close out spring break. So if you can make it to one of these shows I would love to see you there. If not, there is always March 25 when I will be opening for the fabulous Jane Bond band from Austin at Cosmos Cafe here in Houston. Y'all come!
