Hey, Everybody! I'm basking in the afterglow of a lovely day with Mark Abernathy who is producing the new album in Austin and made a trip to my house in Houston via the Metrobus to do a photo shoot here that then moved a few blocks away to historic La Carafe, Downtown. The proofs are quite striking. Yes, I said proofs. Mark is a real deal old school photographer who uses film and the entire "dark room" process!
I'm working hard to get this new album off the ground. It is exciting to see it come to fruition, and I'm looking forward to unveiling the final result, which I believe will be "classic."
In the meantime, I'll be at Khon's here in Houston tomorrow night. Greg Henkel will be accompanying me, and I am really looking forward to that. I hope to see you there if you are here this weekend.
