Houston Tonight: 9:30-10:15

Hey, Everybody!  If you’re in Houston and feel like venturing out for a brisk, seasonal excursion under the downtown lights, I’ll be at La Carafe tonight (Tuesday, December 10) from 9:30-10:15 or so.  After a year in the running, this weekly showcase hosted by Jimmy Pizzitola has become my favorite regular gig in town:

La Carafe:  9:30-10:15 p.m.

December 10 (Tuesday)

813 Congress Ave
Houston Texas 77002
USA (713) 229-9399

And I wanted to thank those of you who attended my special performance on the rooftop of another favorite Houston venue, Khon’s in Midtown.  Thanks also go out to my friend and fellow songwriter, Matt McDonald, for arranging that incredible night.

I’m also excited to announce that I’ve recorded a new Christmas song with Andy Bradley behind the board at Sugar Hill studios.  It’s called “Christmas is Coming:  A Modern Classic by Glenna Bell,” and I think that it will surprise you when you hear it!

I hope that everyone is ready for another holiday full of good times and happy memories in the making.  My official holiday kick off was being the guest of Nanc and Mrs. V from the great KPFT Sunday morning Blues show and seeing John Fullbright perform at the UniTunes Coffeehouse here in Houston Saturday night AND running into my cousin, Jim and wife Gayle, friend/fan Michaela and friend/fellow songwriter, Matt Harlan.  It was a lovely evening, which felt close and warm, the way the season should.  I’m wishing you many an evening so pleasant here at year's end.

Y’all come!
