After my performance, there will be a showing of the movie, Little Girl Blue, a new documentary on Janis Joplin’s life and music. Needless to say, I am flattered to have been contacted by the City of Beaumont Event Facilities Office to entertain in my hometown, situated in the Golden Triangle not far from where Janis grew up in Port Arthur, Texas near the Louisiana border.
